RHS Feature Garden

Project Overview

As featured on BBC One Gardeners' World, this RHS feature garden was designed and built by Blue Butterfly Garden Design to demonstrate what is genuinely achievable within the constraints of a small new build development. The brief went beyond aesthetics. The garden was conceived as a living statement, created to raise awareness of the essential role pollinators play in our ecosystem and to show that even the most compact urban plot can become a haven for wildlife. Every planting decision was made with biodiversity in mind, weaving together nectar-rich perennials, structural grasses, and habitat-supporting features within a refined, contemporary framework. The result earned national recognition not just for its beauty, but for the important message it carries. Good design and ecological responsibility are not in conflict, but are most powerful when pursued together.
